Today Justin and I took the boys to Catoctin Zoo. I'll post something with pictures soon, but wanted to share this conversation that happened as we sat and ate our lunch. I will paraphrase Justin, "Now we're feeding more animals: us. We're animals, too." Alexander's response: "Oh, Daddy, don't be silly. We're not animals. Say you were just kidding."

Ha! Just wait until he realizes that the cows and chickens in the books are the same as the ones on his plate ;)
I told my MIL last night that I'm trying to get that inevitable vegetarian moment over with sooner rather than later.
