Halloween 2010

We tried carving pumpkins using templates this year for three out of our four pumpkins. I thought it worked out really well. Also, this was the first year that we allowed Alexander to use a sharp instrument! He cut most of his pumpkin himself using one of those blades that come in the carving kits. He did a great job! His is on the far right in the picture.

We met some friends at My Gym on Halloween afternoon for two exciting hours of climbing, jumping, running, bouncing, getting buried in the ball pit, etc. Alexander dressed as Zombie Luigi, Jack was Mario, and Kai was a little devil.

Kai took a little nap and doesn't look at all devilish.

Trick or Treating started at 6:00 in our neighborhood, and I think the kids actually knocked on the first door at about 5:58. This time Alexander was Batman and Jack was a dragon. They managed about an hour before Jack was tired and saying that his bag of candy was getting too heavy! As usual they had an awesome time. Alexander was skipping and singing with excitement and Jack was basically giggling non-stop.

Alexander was just as excited about passing candy out to the other kids.

Happy Halloween!
