Kai now weighs in at 21 pounds, 8 ounces (96th percentile). He is 28.5 inches long (also 96th percentile). He does everything a 6 month old should do, such as turn towards sounds, pass a toy from one hand to another, sit up, and babble "da da" and "ba ba."
Interestingly, I checked the baby books and all of the boys were exactly the same length at six months. Jack was the lightest at 18 pounds, 6 ounces. And for the first time, Alexander beats out Kai in an age-by-age size comparison, weighing 4 ounces more at 6 months.
Now that he's six months old, it's time to start working on forming some better sleep habits and introducing more solid foods. Even without actually crawling, he's starting to get pretty mobile, so we need to change some things around!
