I just fed my children a motley dinner of green salad, cheese sticks, and blueberry waffles. I feel bad, but at least it wasn't M&M's and donuts or something! I ate delicious country ribs (which were
not burnt, Jerry), homemade baked beans, German potato salad, and green salad. Also, I will eat my mousse pie after the kids are in bed so that I don't have to share. There's probably a special place in Hell for people like me... ;)

PopPop approves, and offers you dispensation. You gave them most of the four food groups: protein, dairy, grain, vegetables, fruits (blueberries are high in anti-oxidants, so your children will not spontaneously burst into flames!), starch. You saved the fattening, high calorie foods for yourself, so your children would not turn into pudgemorsels. You are a very good mommy!!!
LOL. My kids just ate snacks all day. I don't think they had a real full meal until dinner, and they would only eat a few bites of that. But then again, I had 2 papers to write, and if getting 5 minutes of quiet ment sending the boys on the side step with popsickles, then so be it! :-)
